Republicans face a decision

Tomorrow at noon at the request of their nominee for Speaker, Jim Jordan (R-OH-4), the Republicans will bring the Speaker’s election to the House floor.

Jordan needs a majority of votes “cast for a candidate” on the floor (that means votes for “present” will reduce the number needed to reach a majority as they will not count towards total votes cast).
